Alex and his partner spent much of their time exploring Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Ella, enjoying misty mountain views, tea country landscapes, and the slower pace of life in the hills.
Along the way there were lagoon trips, adventure, local encounters, and plenty of memorable moments. But it was often the simplest experiences, a beautiful viewpoint, a quiet train route, or a cup of Ceylon tea shared during a roadside break, that made the journey special.
The hills have a way of making you slow down and simply enjoy the moment.
